Digital pathology provides the innovation necessary to create high quality whole slide images of glass slides. The whole slide images are then used to identify, quantify, and document key characteristics, reactions, or responses within a specific set of tissue samples. The total time spent on research studies can be significantly decreased with digital pathology resulting in an improved turnaround time on novel discoveries and advancements in medicine.
